There are five obligatory prayers in one day and night.

They are: the Fajr (dawn) prayer: two Rak'ahs, the Zhuhr (noon) prayer: four Rak'ahs, the 'Asr (afternoon) prayer: four Rak'ahs, the Maghrib (sunset) prayer: three Rak'ahs, and the 'Isha' (night) prayer: four Rak'ahs.
